Words She Can Say

She says new words all the time.  It's crazy how quickly she can pick something up.  I was reading a nursery rhyme book to her and she pointed at the page and said- "mouse."  [We were reading Hickory Dickory Dock.]   I had no idea mouse was part of her vocabulary.

I made a list of most of the words she can say by herself.  Meaning, words she says on her own without us asking her to repeat them.  She will try to repeat almost every word that we ask her to say- some that we don't ask her to say.  I'm sure that I'm missing more than a few words and I didn't count animal sounds, but she has the basic of those down (even if they do sound a bit angry at times)- cow, dog, cat, sheep, horse, lion, monkey, bear, etc.

I definitely think her strengths are in verbal skills (vs. physical abilities).  She's very good at communicating with us and letting us know what she wants and doesn't want.  Sometimes too good.
