Boo at the Zoo
We stopped by the FW Zoo yesterday for a little Halloween fun. [But in full disclosure (mom to mom)- it totally wasn't worth going and we probably won't go next year]. All that said, EC enjoyed it and had a great time.
And that was our experience at Boo at the Zoo!
the cutest little cowgirl
she loved the bounce house (her first time)
she never even tried to stand up
she waved hi to everyone
not sure about adults in costume
picked out her own pumpkin to decorate
saying hi to everyone again
she has a cowboy hat, but it didn't last very long
And that was our experience at Boo at the Zoo!

Dance
She loves music and loves dancing!
She had her 18 month well-check today and all was great. She got the flu shot and her doctor was impressed by her vocabulary. And her blue eyes!

height = 32 inches
weight = 22 lbs 3.5 oz
head = 18 inches
She's right on track!
Winnie is her side kick- she asks for Win all the time.
Although, she could be eating a few more veggies [just kidding, the dr. didn't mention that : )]
Such a happy girl!

Words She Can Say
She says new words all the time. It's crazy how quickly she can pick something up. I was reading a nursery rhyme book to her and she pointed at the page and said- "mouse." [We were reading Hickory Dickory Dock.] I had no idea mouse was part of her vocabulary.
I made a list of most of the words she can say by herself. Meaning, words she says on her own without us asking her to repeat them. She will try to repeat almost every word that we ask her to say- some that we don't ask her to say. I'm sure that I'm missing more than a few words and I didn't count animal sounds, but she has the basic of those down (even if they do sound a bit angry at times)- cow, dog, cat, sheep, horse, lion, monkey, bear, etc.
I definitely think her strengths are in verbal skills (vs. physical abilities). She's very good at communicating with us and letting us know what she wants and doesn't want. Sometimes too good.
Words:
Blueberry
Bubbles
Muffin
Baby
Bath
Momma
Daddy
Winnie
Emme

*DISCLAIMER: I know this is a "boring" mom post and most of you probably don't find it very exciting, but I wanted to have this documented.
