Another Boo Boo

EC fell and scraped her knee the other day.  While we are sad for the boo boo, her reaction is hilarious.  Any time, she notices the scrape, she gets that sad look on her face and says, aww, boo boo.  I'm sure the fact that we find it funny and want her to do it all the time doesn't help to lessen the dramatics!

In Box

Sometimes the best toys are not toys!  I know she doesn't look that happy in the pics, but trust me, she had a great time playing in the box with Lyla!

Home Sweet Home

I was barely gone for more than 24 hours, but it felt like forever.  There's no place I would rather be than sitting in this comfy rocker reading a book (or looking at our zoo photo book) to EC with Winnie at my feet (and Jeremy nearby, too).  Home feels good.   

 

 

 

New Kicks

We finally got this little some desparately needed new (properly fitting) shoes!  And she's sporting her brand new Seaside tee!

 

 

Emme Clare Visits the Zoo

 

She loved visiting the zoo.  Any moving animal was her favorite.  It was a little bit hard for her to see some of them.  But she had such a good time!

Infinity pool

EC loves the beach she's not one bit scared and the entire time she's in the ocean, she has a huge smile on her face.

Taking Flight

The bad news is we are not even on the airplane and we already had to bust out the paci. The good news- she's walking around saying hi and charming all the other passengers.

A Walk in the Park

Rockin'

Jeremy's parents' neighbor made this little rocking chair especially for EC.  She recently discovered it and she loves sitting down in it and standing back up.  It's just her size!

Memories

After getting back from a trip to Abilene, I was downloading all the photos onto my computer.  EC came and sat in my lap and loved looking at all the photos on the computer.  I decided to make her a photo album of her very own.  She loves it!  I wish I would have done this a long time ago.  Looking at the album captures her attention for at least 10 minutes (in toddler world, that's forever!).  She's had it about a week and so far, she's not bored with it. 

She comes running with her album, asking us to help her look at it.

We have all of our family in the album (and some of our best friends)!

She points at all the people, so we can tell her who it is. 

I also put pics of Winnie, Hank, and the horses- she especially loves those!

She really studies all the photos.

I love that my girl loves pictures [almost] as much as me!
